How this calculator works
The calculator uses the Nitaqat Mutawar formulas published by MHRSD for each ISIC4 activity. Pick your company activity, enter your Saudi and non-Saudi employee counts, and you instantly see your Saudization percentage, your current band, and the four band thresholds for your company size.
For the exact calculation including salary-based credits (0.5 / 1.0), the 4× disabled-employee multiplier, and part-time/flexible rules, create a free account and add your roster.
Frequently asked questions
How is the Nitaqat band calculated?
Your Saudization percentage (Saudi employees ÷ total employees) is compared against thresholds that depend on your ISIC4 activity and total headcount. Most sectors use the logarithmic Nitaqat Mutawar formula: Required % = MAX(0, m × ln(headcount) + c).
Is this calculator free?
Yes — this calculator is completely free and requires no account. For automatic tracking, salary-based credit multipliers, what-if scenarios, and band-drop alerts, you can create a free account.
Why does my band differ from Qiwa?
This tool gives a headcount-based estimate. The official calculation in Qiwa also applies salary-based credits (e.g. Saudis below SAR 4,000 count as 0.5), disabled-employee multipliers, and part-time rules. Create a free account to apply the full credit model to your roster.
Which sectors are covered?
All 2,800+ ISIC4 activities published under the Developed Nitaqat framework effective April 26, 2026, including both formula-based and flat-threshold sectors.
